Oven Fries

Serves 4 | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total time: 40 minutes


Ingredients

3 or 4 large russet potatoes

1 TB olive oil

1/2 tsp salt


Method

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash, dry, and slice the potatoes lengthwise to make 8 wedges per potato. Place slices in cold water for 10 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, mix olive oil and salt.

  3. Dry potato wedges and then toss in the olive oil and salt. Arrange on a baking sheet and place in oven.

  4. After 15 minutes, turn potatoes. Bake for 10 more minutes. Serve hot
